As you may already know, the Lap Band is not currently FDA approved for anyone under the age of 18. However, there are several clinical trials that have been approved for Lap Band surgery in teenagers.
I suggest you try some of the larger University centers, such as Dr. Joy Collins at the Childrens Hospital in Phildelphia, Dr. George Fielding at NYU, and Dr. Jeffrey Zitsman at New York Presbyterian.
Also, call doctors listed on this website that are closer to you. They might be a good resource.
