Food coming back up with my LapBand

I am in my 40′s and I have had two LapBand surgeries. First in 2006 and then in 2009. I lost 70 lbs but picked it back up. When I get fills, I get sick to where I can’t lay down because I girble in my sleep (food come back up)

Whenever you have problems with night-time reflux (a gurgling or choking sensation when lying down), it is a sign of the band being too tight. So it sounds like further fills may not be what you need, but instead maybe a close examination of diet choices and exercise patterns to see what is sabotaging your weight loss. Something I see commonly that is a weight-loss killer are the calories that come from drinking. For example, a large sweet tea from a common fast food restaurant has 330 calories – and that’s not even the jumbo size! 330 calories of pure sugar – which will only cause you to be starving an hour later when your insulin levels are high and blood sugar is low. Fruit juices, many “energy” drinks, even Vitamin Water all have a large number of calories and always from sugar. You need to sit down with a nutritionist and start keeping a food diary of everything you eat and drink. The nutritionist will help you figure out where the problems are and help you come up with solutions.
